JouleCheck works as an app on your phone: a home screen icon, a full-screen window with no browser bar, and it keeps working with no signal once you've visited it.

iPhone and iPad (Safari)

  1. Open joulecheck.com in Safari.
  2. Tap the Share icon (the square with an arrow pointing up).
  3. Scroll down and tap Add to Home Screen, then confirm.

What works offline

Once you've opened a page, it stays available with no signal. All three calculators (gravity, kinetic, pneumatic) run entirely in your browser, so they keep working offline once you've visited the calculator page one time. Pages you haven't visited yet still need a connection the first time.
