Lighting installation
This card shows the energy in this activity and what to verify before starting. It's a reference, not a step-by-step procedure. The checklist below stays on this screen; nothing is saved or sent.
Installing luminaires and emergency lighting combines overhead work from steps or MEWPs with wiring that may become energised during commissioning.
High-energy check
Fittings and tools dropped from ceiling height can exceed injury thresholds. Circuits energised for testing elsewhere add electrical exposure this tool does not calculate.
Trigger checks
-
Electrical
Current, voltage, energisation, arc flash or stored electrical energy.
Direct controls to verify
Ticks stay on this screen only. Nothing is saved or sent.
For your SPA or pre-start
State the work height and access method, how fittings and tools are secured, and how the circuit is proven dead before connection work.
