Pressure energy
This energy type is present. This tool does not calculate it.
Compressed gas and pressurised liquid store energy that releases violently and without warning. Stored pneumatic energy is far greater than hydraulic at the same gauge pressure.
Trigger questions
- Is any part of the system under pressure now, or could it be pressurised during the work?
- Has the system been depressurised and verified at a gauge or vent, not assumed?
- Could trapped pressure remain between valves or in dead legs?
- Is a pressure test planned or under way anywhere on the connected system?
- Are hoses, fittings and gauges rated for the pressure present?
